The talent of children writers

As we dive deeper and deeper into children literature, I have began to notice the amount of talent that is needed to actually complete a childrne's book. I guess I would say that any one can write a book for kids, but it is a true talent to write on that they actually understand. I can remember reading some books as a child that I would quit reading after the first chapter. Kids are different from adult in that if you do not obtain their attention right away, they will probably stop reading the book all together. I have to give it to the authors that we have read so far. These books and stories have been around for many years and are still enertaining children today. Cudos to children literature writers!!
